Crosland Moor Junior School wins Artsmark award (20th June 2006)

Crosland Moor Junior School, Dryclough Road, Huddersfield has achieved on of 1,220 arts Council England Artsmark awards announced today. In this sixth Artsmark round, 249 schools across the country achieved Artsmark, 412 Artsmark Silver and 559 achieved Gold status.

Artsmark is the national arts award for schools that demonstrate a commitment to developing their arts provision -from drama to music. design to literature, dance to sculpture.

There is a huge amount of activities going on here at Crosland Moor Junior School. For example, mural painting and Puppet Theatre both with local artists
