Welcome to Crosland Moor Junior school
I am Mrs. Blackaby, the very proud headteacher.
Crosland Moor Junior School has gone through a total transformation over the last four years. So much so that we are now recognised by our Local Authority as an 'outstanding' school. This means that your child will get a first class education here. We believe that educating the 'whole' child. This means life skills and creative subjects are as valuable as English and Maths. Physical Education also has a big slot on the weekly timetable. This also means that our childrens' family is very important to us. You will get lots of opportunities to be involved in your child's life at school. Your child will also be taught in a stimulating, inspirational and safe environment. The quality of the teaching and learning environment is very important and ours is first class. We are constantly reviewing the curriculum we teach our children. As teachers we feel it is very important to keep up with developments in education. I am a very lucky person. I have the best job in the world, I work with extremely effective and capable people in a wonderful school. Finally, let me tell you what is the best asset of all in our school......Our children.
